thanks. i found a site: planet500d.com and that convinced me that the digital slr is NOT the way to go even for family video. The jelly effect is all over the place and the autofocusing is awful. It is LOUD and waaay too slow.

I'm trying to build a system for video editing/audio editing, etc for real cheap. I do not need a case but I do need a monitor as well. My budget is no more than $700, though I might go the route of Dell to get the monitor, since I can use my credit account...maybe. So I decided against going...

Dual Core?

I like to do media encoding tasks on my computer. Mainly putting video on my ipod. But I don't know if I should go dual core or not. I'd like not to spend the $300 it costs to go dual core on the AMD side, but I don't really trust Intel with anything. So is it worth the extra dough to go to...
