Found a fix for this problem today. I tried re-installing a number of drivers, ones that came with the pc originally and ones found on amd.
I then tried this beta crimson driver, but still no go.
Started playing around with the settings and changed a setting for the Color Pixel Format...
I have at 60 Hz currently at 1920x1080. Looks like 60 Hz is the only usable option because if I use another rate (and 1920x1200), CCC lowers the resolution by itself.
Couldn't find a way to disable EDID. Scaling doesn't really seem to do anything, except to make the desktop size smaller(scaling @ 10%)/bigger(scaling @ 0%).

When I updated to 8.1, I get blurry lines. I have to step down in resolution ( to 1920X1080) to make things clear.

Just as theninja says, don't worry about it. Watch your waist size and see if it shrinks. Possibly your weight is the same because as you lose fat, you're gaining muscle. Just keep on going and change up your workout routines a bit.
