Wow - I didn't know about the 2Gb dual channel limit - are you sure that isn't just because there aren't any 1GB DDR sticks out - do you have an article reference?

Yes - I was referring to the size - not the manufacturer. I have not been able to find any at 3200 speeds eithers (only slower).

Thanks - I had never heard with certainty that the 3.2 would be out on the 21st with Springdale - but sort of figured so with the AMD 3200+ being announced. Some had said earlier it might not be until June.

If you look at the overall benchmarks on PCMAG.com - they did a test of desktop 875 systems and also of "gaming" systems (separate articles). Though its clear Raid0 will give significantly higher disk-only benchmarks - the overall benchmarks are hardly any different at all. Same ole story - as...

Memory availability and pricing for I875 DDR 400 MB's

Yes - they are using 512 mb sticks because they are filling up the 4 slots. Is it too risky to go buy Corsair for instance - I've heard that there are issues with matching MB and memory with the 875 chipset.

It costs $560 to upgrade a Dell 8300 from 1 G to 2G memory - Is this reasonable? Should I order with minimum memory and get it in the open market?

Best webcam in terms of FPS, clarity, and lighting.

The Register says Springdale 1 month after Canterwood (Mid-May), but it sounds like the 3.2 P4 is June. Any comments? If I could order the 3.0C from Dell I would - but they have pulled it.
