My CPU runs at 800 FSB (pentium D 930). Is there a way to MOD the bios so that I can raise the bus speed higher in the bios. I know that the mobo likes 1066 processors and my FSB wont go past 238 stable (sux I know). I would be able to raise the bus higher if the comp thought is was a 1066...

Thanks for all your help Jimmor. Everything is stable and working nicely. Down side is I was only able to overclock to 3.57Ghz but its better than the 3.00Ghz before. Hopefully I can find something out to get it higher. Maybe the new bios version has got something. IDK. Anyways I have my timing...

I cant find the voltage of my RAM anywhere. I am guessing it is 1.8v. Also what would I need to make the processor more overclockable? I run 1 SATA DVD RAM drive but I have 2 other IDE cd drives (one burner one not) and 2 IDE HDD's so should I go ahead and make v-link "fast" and IDE Drive...

I loaded the optimal defaults in the Bios and everything works fine. If I overclock the FSB past 246 (3.7Ghz) it will not boot up Windows but gives me a REGISTRY_FAULT blue screen error, if I overclock past 240 (3.61Ghz) none of my 3d games work and my graphic driver fails. What the crap? Any...

I ran memtest86+ for a long time. I went through 100%of the passes twice and no errors were reported. I dont know what the heck the problem is. I was just contemplating keeping my pentium D or going to a Core 2. Would there be a huge difference or would it just be slight.

Oh yeah also I tried reinstalling the driver but that did not work either. The computer works untill I try just about anything 3D. On another note. What is better...... A pentium D 930 @ 3.7Ghz or a Core 2 Duo @ 2.5Ghz If the Pentium D is better how far would you have to go for the Core 2...

Hey cpmee. Those setting you gave me worked ok at first. Everything booted up just fine but when I tried to play COD 4 I get a blue screen. Its mainly two different errors. One is PAGE_FAULT_IN_UNPAGED_AREA and the other has to do with the POOL. Dont remember exactly but the at fault driver is...

My bios is ver1.70 and it says I need a bootable floppy to update on the website. I have a floppy and 2 4 pin floppy power connectors but one goes to power my graphics card(odd I know) and the other wont reach. Is there any other way to do it? Also did you tell my how to overclock my graphics...

Overclocking on a ASRock 4CoreDual SATA-2

I would use anything right now. I have been all over Forums trying to figure it out and people try over clocking on my mobo but there are no step by step instructions or anything close to it. Any tips on using this thing. I have never seen it before.
