Samsung 955DF rebate ($50 MIR) being incorrectly honored, mixed up perhaps?

Make $50 (possibly $100) after MIR on a Motorola V66 at Amazon

i talked to a rep for a variety of cellular provider and they said that t mobile uses the same towers as verizon. there should be no reason why you didn't get service with verizon. i'm assuming that you had a cheap phone for verizon and getting a name brand phone made all the difference.

Which P4 board???

its a general consensus that that MB is a good reliable way to go. recently AT also voted the Gigabyte 8IEXP to be the best P4 MB. read their review on their main page. the Gigabyte 8IEXP costs about $135 shipped. so it's fairly cheap and good.

Lexux IS300 or Infiniti G35 coupe?

i'm also looking into buying a new car and i've done my research on the g35. just on looks alone, i would definately go with the G35 hands down. i do admit that the lexus has a brand name logo which gives the vote to the is300, but what's wrong with infiniti? i have never heard of anything...

called granada hills, ca (out of order) called van nuys, ca (not clearance). they had 3 for $99 called valencia, ca (not clearance). they had 3 for $99 called woodland hills, ca (not clearance). they had 2 for $99 at all the stores, they are inactive items making freejack2's call correct...

standard air cooled with avc sunflower. i've actually hit 2.4 before and my temps never went over 38C during full load. Well i guess i can't complain... the lower the better right. =)

is something wrong with my temp sensors? i get full load of 32 C with the avc sunflower at 2.0 with my 1.6a? hmm... intersting that everyone's temp is like 15 more than mine.

what cpu/ram to overclock

the question is how much do you want to oc? if you read the forums a lot of people are hitting at least 2.2 from 1.6a with stock hsf. lots of people hit 2.4 too. well i have a 1.6a and have gotten it to 2.4 but just running regular 1.6 b/c i don't need the power now. but 1.6a is a great cpu...

P4 Northwood HSF, which one to get?

i'm using the avc sunflower. got temps of 31 c full load , 28 idle. pretty good temps for air cooled. but it is kinda loud... had to get the akasa pax mate. but i hear the stock hsf is good enough.

1.6A vs 1.8A ???

i didn't know the 1.8a can't overclock as much. interesting. glad i got the 1.6a.

Mobo for overclocking 1.6a

i have the p4b266 and i guess i'm kinda restricted in oc'ing power b/c i want to utilize my powerful ram (the ram ratio locks up with fsb > 132). other than that, the p4b266 is good. so if you have the extra $ get the 533 but if you don't mind the fsb thing, go with the p4b266.
