Read more closely before replying. 9500 and 9700 are coffee lake and already out there and yet are shown as having HT in the slides. Does intel make such mistakes in their official material?

You are looking at the wrong manual. That picture is not of his motherboard. His model does support PWM for the case fan header. IINM all manuals say +12V, so you cannot tell from that if the voltage can be altered or not. You can tell from the bios settings though, and as you stated, that...

Download the board's user manual. Find out which pin supplies the voltage (12V) and which one is ground (GND), then connect the fan accordingly. The black wire is ground. You just attach it. The connector's shape makes it obvious. Obviously.

Why are you mocking me? It's a genuine question since this emulator is unique among emulators. I'm not saying it's doing a bad job; just interested to know why it doesn't do direct emulation.
