Storage Space nuked...

Hello, I had a RAID 5-style Storage Space. 3x Reds. I no longer needed the array and took two drives and built a RAID-1-type Storage Space on a different system. A year later I add the third Red drive as an external backup. Storage Spaces sees that the new external is part of a broken RAID-5...

Windows 10: I am not seeing the Advanced tab to check my Ultra DMA mode.

In Win10 RST drivers are no longer necessary if you do not use the RAID function. The only disadvantage is that the Win10 driver does not activate the HIPM and DIPM modes for energy saving in idle. This can however be rectified by this nifty little script...

Win 10 Install and Upgrade-Preview Future Release 1703. Aka Creators Edition.

So, I have the latest build (15025) installed. As far as I can tell, all cool. EXCEPT.... I used to boot to desktop in <10sec. Now, it takes closer to 30 sec. it feels like the boot 'hangs' at POST just before the dots start spinning. This is a UEFI boot. I read somewhere that MS doctored...

RX 480 - 620W PSU not enough?

Ok folks, I am clearly taking crazy pills. Now, after abt 3 weeks of _solid gaming_, I am now back to the original problem. After a few seconds to max 2-3 minutes, games quit with monitor to power save and a hard reboot is required. Thing is, I havent changed anything since I replaced the PSU...
