There are two touchpad manufacturers, synaptic and Elan. I believe Elan touchpad has the intergrated buttons and has a pre-installed program in which you can customize buttons (like you mention, touch both buttons to get IE to open). The touchpad with the two separated buttons is made by...
On Newegg's site, the only XFX 8600GTS that comes with a game is the XXX version which is overclocked to 730. The slightly less overclocked one (720) doesn't come with anything and neither does the standard 8600GTS (according to the pictures).
This was at zipzoomfly for $149.99 AR but it's dead now.

I just got a new computer (Dell 9200 Q6600, 2GB RAM) and I am hoping this'll hold me over until the next generation of nvidia cards come down in price (the 9xxx or whatever they'll be called) after...
For those of you who've added HDD's to this system:
How would I go about adding a couple SATA II HDD's? I know I need SATA II cables with a 90 degree bend (are there right/left handed bends?) How long do the SATA cables need to be-I've heard anywhere from 18-36"" but I am not sure- I am...
Although that's a tornado, I wouldn't call that "wind".
A lot of civil engineering has to do with probability. What's the probability that an earthquake of a certain magnitude can hit this area in the next 100, 200 500 years? What's the probability that the river level can exceed this limit...
I haven't done much roadway work, but thermal loading (if it's even a design criteria) would not be a controlling factor in design. Thermal expansion is considered usually in the expansion bearings, which allow the bridge to expand/contract overall without inducing stress on the members...
The coefficient for thermal expansion for steel is 0.00000645in/in/deg F. Unless you are exposed to extreme temperatures, normally you design bearings to move for temp fluctuations of +/-70F from an air temp of 50F. I doubt heat had anything to do with this.
I also doubt scour (undermining...
Depending on how a bridge is built, if it is composite concrete/steel, the "roadway" is considered to be structural. If you every see brudge beams with steel shear studs welded onto the top flanges, they are engaging the concrete to work (in compression) compositely with the steel (which is...
I'm a structural engineer, but I work on railroad bridges, old (100 years +) and new.
It's not a secret that our country is in severe need of funding for thousands of bridge repairs and replacements, large and small, across the country, both railroad and traffic. I'm sad to say that a...

I requested an RMA....this thing was so obviously opened and used before I got it - the stickers that go on the card (to color coordinate the outputs) were already stuck on and all the seals on the DVD and CD were broken, manual showed signs of use (tattered)...it'll be hard to buy any hardware...
It's definitely used...the stickers that go around the outputs (color coordinated ones) were already peeled off and suck on the card. The seals on the demo DVD and installation CD were too. It's going back for sure now....back to onboard sound for me....has anyone else had this happen?
