gigabyte 7vaxp ultra bios issues?

i just flashed my bios to f7, now i cant burn my cd's, the firmware on my cd rom drive is up to date im using a tdk 40x12x48x with memorex media, ive gone though probablly about 70 cds before this started happening, i used to be on the f3 bios and it worked fine... and i totally forgot to save...

ok ive noticed that almost all of the all in wonder cards come with a remote, can you tell me what programs utilize this? im pretty sure the tv but will the dvd sofware work as well? how bout other media programs like winamp or wmp?

ok.. ive been out of the loop for a long time.. when did giga-byte stop using promise raid controllers? whats the difference between the promise controllers and the gigaraid? performance?

ok so do u just add the speeds like 2x1200mhz = 2400mhz? or is it just 1200?

What's the oldest piece of hardware in your computer that you still use daily?

my ms internet keyboard pro with onboard usb ports... hehehe they stopped making these when? and one of my western digital hard drives.. its about 2-3 years old now.. same with the keyboard... its starting to sound like a jet... maybe its time for a new one.. or 4...
