SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 2.5" 250GB $160 with code: EMCPHPF22 ($10) through Feb 6 (PT).
PNY XLR8 PRO SSD9SC240GCDA-RB 2.5" 240GB $130 after $10 rebate.
My bad! I was looking at the prices for the ~480 GB sizes and only the current NewEgg prices at that. Looking around, prices for ~240GB SSDs are Crucial M500 < Seagate 600 < Samsung Evo < Sandisk Extreme, ATM anyway.
But the first two are about 50% more expensive. I assumed that anyone who would be getting advice from here would fit the article's mainstream category.
I just went for it. My filler was a mop. :) The coupon doesn't seem to be mentioned on the website today, but it was honored during checkout. I got free shipping to my home, probably because I signed up for their rewards program, although that wasn't clear.
Expires at the end or beginning of the day? I assume end, but am not sure. I don't see a date for the duration of the monitor sale.
The idea of having toilet paper shipped to a store just seems weird. Ink should work, but not Epson Ink for some reason. (The small-print page.)
ATM (until midnight PT), NewEgg's Shell Shocker is "Intel NUC Kit DC3217IYR FCBGA1168 Intel QS77 2 x 204Pin Intel HD Graphics 4000 Integrated by CPU" for $240. It's redish with a gold dragon.
Softmart claims to have 15 of the i5 in stock. Supposedly they will get a bunch tomorrow. I have my doubts, but...

@HOSED I was just being a hypocrite. "I don't know anything about Adorama Camera." I've noticed that the Adorama deals sticky is gone now, anyway.
@ctoSiN: According to the chart here, I agree that it is a very good price. The smaller ones have been at lower $/GB prices for short...
"Online eyewear tips, tricks and tidbits" By Debra D. Bass St. Louis Post-Dispatch
That was reprinted in a local (different) newspaper today. I didn't think the first half of that article was worth reading, but I thought the "Tips for Buying Eyewear Online" and "Places to Shop" sections toward...
I bought a different sized Evo from them via eBay. No problems. It shipped in a padded bag, IIRC, but that should be enough.
BTW, note the sticky post at the top of this topic. ;) Actually, I don't know the background behind that, but it's there.
Amazon had it at $79 in a lightning deal, but 100% were taken just before I looked. :(
Supposedly, it doesn't have a SIM slot.
The GSM version is available via Google Play now for $179 and $199.
