Which is faster, a stock i5-4570, or an i5-3570K @ 4.2ghz?

Thanks for the opinions, guys. This isn't a buying opinion, I have two systems, one is a mini-iTX with the 4570 and a reference 780, the other is a mid-tower with the OC'd 3570K and a non-reference 7950. The 780 will make up for any of the loss of the 4570's performance. Just wanted a quick...

By how much exactly? Roughly equal probably? I can't see 600mhz being that big of an advantage over Haswell's improvments.

Just curious, between these two, which is faster, primary use is gaming. Multicore enhancement is turned on for the 4570, if that helps.

General quality and reliability of ASRock boards

All you're going to find here is anecdotal stuff. For example, in contrast to the guy above me, I have used a Z77 Extreme4 since launch and had a great experience. Good board for a good price.

Good silent PWN fan for an NH-D14

Awesome. From what I can tell on Thermalright's site, the TY-141 and TY-147 are the same fan in terms of performance? Except the 141 is 2 ball bearing instead of "Enhanced Hyper-Flow Bearing" of the 140 and 147, does that make a big difference?

Good silent PWN fan for an NH-D14

I have an NH-D14, and want to replace the fans with silent-ish PWM ones. I'll be moving into an R4 later (from my current CM690 II). I was looking as an extensive but year old test done on OCN by a guy who tested several fans in various configurations on his NH-D14, and came to the conclusion...

Dual vs. Quad-Core + Hyperthreading Analysis *(TBG)*

Does anyone still get the AMD 7xxx bug where your monitor doesn't wake up from sleep?

Second thoughts about NH-U12S

Already checked that and its all clear. RAM is G.Skill Sniper and the case is a CM690 II. I'm either going to be buying a Define R4 or a Deep Silence 2 eventually so it should clear both of those.

Radeon HD 7950 Owner's Thread

What is the normal max OC for 7950s? I was playing around last night and ended up with 1150/1625 @ 1.25v. Couldn't hit 1200 core even at max voltage in Trixx (1.3v), didn't really bother testing in between 1150 and 1200.

Which voltage monitor to believe?
