Einstein: God belief is childish

I think what Cyclo meant was that Einstein's genius with regard to physics says little if anything about his authority on matters of philosophy and religion. People seem to think that because Einstein believed or did not believe in God, it means something profound.

One of the best ways to counter this global warming issue would be to halt deforestation of our rain forests, not cut them down for this morally gray biofuel nonsense. There are plenty of other reasons to stop deforestation anyway. CycloWizard said it best, on the first page:

$100 million opening weekend for Iron Man

Iron Man impressed me as just being a good movie. It is a very entertaining watch. Some super hero movies are not so great, even if they capture the hero well, but this movie nailed everything.

Anti-genetic bill passes through Congress and the only one to oppose it........

I was going to use this analogy as well. Neither free market nor state's rights arguments really apply here. This is about discrimination based on human attributes. Also, giving genetics more freedom to explore is a nice side effect.

JK Rowling suing a fan-made website/book?

That Card guy is not very convincing. It's more of an opinion piece than a serious comment on the legal side of things. He doesn't seem to like JKR for whatever reason. The only point he has that I noticed was that there are some other books which are related to the Potter universe. Dunno how...

JK Rowling suing a fan-made website/book?

I dunno. I think that profiting off of Rowling's world by making an encyclopedia is a legitimate concern for the author. If it's non-profit, fair enough, but if you're making money off of collecting facts someone else came up with.. eh.... I'll have no sympathy if he loses.

I Am Ripoff, I mean Legend

I liked 28 Days Later a lot, it had a cool atmosphere. I Am Legend was just a lot of good solo acting by Will Smith. Both movies are good, but... Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.. ripoff?.. Hahahahahahahahahahaha... etc
