the bad thing about the 7800 GS is it's being limited by the bandwidth on the AGP. though it has lots of overclocking potential. the GS is base on it's PCIe cousins the GTX and the GT which means it's a bandwidth hungry chip.
edit; But I guess the Duron will not be able to take advantage of its higher clockspeed, lack of SSE and it got only 64K-L2 cache: compared to palomino which has 256K-L2 w/ SSE. I think palomino is much faster if you pair it w/ a good RAM.
hmmm.... looks good. If you really want that case.... replace the generic PSU w/ something like thermaltake or antec PSU as most generic PSU can cause some problems.
X850 XT is undoubtly the best choice in your line of budget, don't bother w/ the 6800GS you need to unlock & overclock it first to get the speed of an ULTRA version. I've heard some guys on the other forums that a 350 wat PSU can even run a 7800 GT well. so 35o wat is just enough for that card.
the reason why that's so expensive is 'cause you can overclock that to a near 7800 GTX. But I guess, the price is still not worth it. If That's the case, I'll rather upgrade my mobo to PCIe and pair it w/ 7800 GT.
