Have you got access to the bios if so check the settings maybe you might have disabled primary and secondary master if parallel ata

Auto power off mid OS install

hi i have a toshiba satellite m100 and i am trying to install Windows 7 and it turns off mid install no blue screen no shutdown just off and it is f#$*ing me off I believe it is a power supply issue please reply plugged in but not hot

If you are trying to enter the BIOS take note of the code e.g 19635 and take that code to http://www.bios-pw.org and enter the code there and it will give you the BIOS backdoor passwords or you could use the cmos_clr1 e.g. the toshiba satellite m100 cmos_clr1 is located under the ram chip just...
