It seems benchmarks of C1 are relatively favourable so far. https://www.ookla.com/articles/apples-c1-modem-early-adopters Aside from power usage, the most important metric for me is this one: Much less important to me is peak speed. Overall, C1 competes well.

Question M4 Mac Mini announced

For the M4 Mac mini, the RAM and storage upgrade prices are worse now in some countries. They updated the upgrade pricing last week. The good news for the M4 MacBook Air, they dropped the base pricing. Also, in some countries like Canada, it's actually slightly cheaper than in the US.

The AI pundits had me almost convinced that the base iPad would get A17 and 8 GB RAM. Apple actually went with my original prediction of A16. Along with A16 I was thinking 6 GB but we don't have confirmation of that yet. If 6 GB that would be great, because that would be a 50% increase in RAM...
