if playing on a big HDTV, i really would recommend a better DVD player. When I say better, I mean something that has a Video D/A converter of 12bit / 108MHz. This philips and a lot of other DVD players only have 10bit/54mhz. I don't know the techical aspects of why its better, but my eyes don't...

16:9 widescreen is great.. you dont appreciate it until you experience it everyday.. then watch a 4:3 signal and are like "wheres the rest of the picture.. it seems cropped and something is missing.. the future will all be 16:9 :)

yes it looks like its only 6 episodes.. apparently the first season was only a trial run given by the network.. then they enjoyed it thus the feature seasons which had more episodes..
now that is sweet! if google earth had this.. or if they make a standalone program like google earth with this feature.. that would be a great program.. not saying it isnt already (both)
