no video in WMC (Vista Ultimate) when windowed...

Sounds like a video issue. Have you updated your video/monitor drivers lately? Have you installed any new codecs (Media Player can do this automatically without prompting)? Check your windows update log to see if anything "came down the pipe."

Just for laughs I tried the install on my Vista x64 box, the result: "Cannot install ZoneAlarm 7.1.078.000 on this computer. This computer has a 64 bit operating system and ZoneAlarm cannot install on this computer." :disgust: :thumbsdown:

OMG make it stop!

Definitely get Firefox with the Adblock extension. In the meantime: 1) clear out all your cookies that you don't need or recognize (or better yet, all of them) and clear your browsers cache. 2) follow Schadenfroh's advice, and scan your system. You could have some nasty adware installed...
