Well, I looked around some and I found the solution to the problem. This also affects the KT7 and the KT7A/KT7A-RAID mobo's also. To get the HD to detect you have to cut pin 1 and pin 2 on the IDE cable. Weird solution but it works like a charm. Hopefully this helps anyone else with the same...
I am trying to install the WD 60 GB HD 5400 RPM on a KT7-RAID system. I cannot get the drive to detect in BIOS. If i try to make it a slave to my boot drive, my boot drive is not detected by the BIOS. I am running BIOS version WW if that helps. Any ideas on how to get this to work is greatly...
