Yah but Amazon prob has several warehouses throughout the US and which stock you get is probably based on your distance to a warehouse and the shipping method so we probably cant be sure unless we wait about a month.

Guys how hot is this really? Last week I purchased a E521 with C2D 1.8ghz, 1GB RAM, Vista Home Premium, 250gb sata, dvd burner, 22" wfp for $669+tax. Once you add all the components, doesnt this add up to over $500?

I am debating between the HP 14" and the HP 15" ....the larger screen would be nice but i'm betting the smaller one will be more convinient to lug around. While the 17" has the wow factor, it would be a pain to lug around. Now those macbook pro's got the 17" down to an inch thick...havent seen...
I too am considering the dv2000t...it has all the power of the larger ones but its 1" thin. And honestly I like the latest hp consumer and business notebooks are outstanding...sony seem more expensive and ibm a little bland ...
I just picked up one of these myself and it does indeed seem bright with the included AA batteries. (I'm no flashaholic). They had plenty on the shelves still.
