    Yakima or Thule rack for my car?

    I had a Thule bike rack that I sold when I stopped mtn biking, and now have an Inno rack cuz I was cheap & have factory crossbars on the car, so I just put it on & off when actually heading out to snowboard, so not too concerned on its longevity as its only on the car for a few days at a time...

    Some pictures I took at the Joint Services Open House last week

    Nice pics! grew up on bases too BoomerD - although they were all SAC bases, so our open houses were definitely geared more towards the B-52 BUFFs, restored B-17s, B-24s, B-29s, I do remember seeing the B-1 for the first time & they had a AC-130 out once...that's one f'n mean machine!

    Question for those who fly

    and do be smart.....make sure to pack a small bag for carry-on with a few essentials in it as the possibilities for lost baggage increases with changed flights and all (sorry, had a horror story in logan w/ 3 different airlines & bags not showing up for 4 days after)

    I'm going Skydiving Tomorrow!!!!

    i went last summer, loved it! going to go this summer and hopefully get certified by the end of the summer if my funds hold out! and yes, the tandem sucked - i had a 6'3 250lb guy from alabama who goes by the name 'my excellent compatriot-ass' i don't think it can get any worse:)

    Anyone still read books?

    freakonomics was pretty good, some different thoughts there, on the guns, germs & steel line 'ithe great nfluenza' by john barry was excellent as far as fiction, i got hooked on david baldacci recently and have been going thru his books enjoying each of them as quick fun reads.

    yea, i was thinking probably not...esp for a 2500, as it would be alot more likely to be something easy to change out, not likely to have the tranny linked w/ the radiator in something that can have like 40 different engine / tranny combos

    engine/tranny that is in the truck? if i remember correctly that could be anything from a small block v-8 w/ a 4 speed auto to a diesel w/ a 5 spd manual?
