Computer Turns off

My Dad's computer which has a fresh install of windows xp keeps turning off after a few minutes. Now I checked the cpu temps and they are perfectly fine. All my drivers are current and most components in the system are only 6 months old. Could a PSU be the problem? Its a 430 watt coolermaster...

How many of you have returned from Vista to XP?

I went back to xp mainly because of BF2 and nvidia's crappy drivers for vista. In vista BF2 plays like crap and crashes to the desktop while loading maps. And the frame rates are all over the place. Its like that in most games on vista, yet Xp is perfectly smooth. I know its not really vista its...

OEM VS Normal, Why the price difference

I just got vista home premium full version for $99 oem you can't beat that price. I just upgraded all my hardware before this, so I wouldn't be changing any hardware in my computer for at least 2 years. So for me that $99 oem is perfect. I don't need all the stuff that comes with ultimate home...

If I had my choice for gaming I would take the 90gx2 over the 20wmgx2. Their's no doubt for games the 90gx2 is better, that's not to tsay the 20wmgx2 is not good it is acceptable but not as good as the 90gx2 in that area. But in all other area, color, text contrast etc the 20wmgx2 is leaps and...

Actually I went from the Vp930b to the Nec 90gx2 to the 20wmgx2 :-) And although I total love the 20wmgx2 in most repects the 90gx2 was still better for games imo. When playing BF2 on the 90gx2 I noticed no screen tear or blurring at all. With the 20wmgx2 I notice screen tearing and blurring...

The nec 20wmgx2 speaker bar comes off very easy, its supported by 2 srews on either side of it. Just get a philips screw driver and take out the two srews and your done :-)

Dam that's what I thought. I already called NEC and sent in my invoice from newegg. I'm just waiting for the rma number and how to send it back and get my new one. Its only about 20 days old too. How well is nec's warranty, do they cross ship etc...
