Am I the only one who thinks Assasin's Creed sucks?

I'm in the clear minority here, but I enjoyed the original Assassin's Creed despite the repetitiveness of the gameplay. Completing all of the side missions gave you clues to put together a strategy for your assassination target as well as set up advantageous routes of attack or escape. I felt...

Recommend some old 360 games I can buy for cheap

If you loved Ico, look for Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom. It's not a 360 exclusive, but it's a great 2-character combat/puzzler. Enslaved (also not a 360 exclusive) would also fit the bill.

Mass Effect 3 had an alternate mode which eliminated dialogue choices from the game (although I'm guessing it didn't automatically remove all dialogue). I don't believe that option was available in the previous games, however, and the real virtue of the Mass Effect series is watching the...

Oh, Rare, how I wish you could return to your N64 glory days. Kameo was a great game (although the trigger-centric control scheme was a bit unorthodox). I'd love to see them return to imaginative character and world design platformers.

Neverending Rock Band DLC Thread

They replayed the Cheap Trick episode of Austin City Limits a couple of weeks ago, and it made me nostalgic for Surrender in Guitar Hero 2. I hope the drum score is as fun to play in game as it looked live.

Free games from Sony. Are those games any good?

I already own inFamous and LittleBigPlanet, so I picked up Super Stardust HD and WipEout HD. Super Stardust HD is a great dual-stick shmup. I haven't tried WipEout yet, although it looks very similar to F-Zero.

Redbox will offer $2 per day videogame rentals nationwide in June

There was a sign on the machine at my local grocery store that said game rentals were now available, but there was a line so I didn't check to see what the title selection was like.
