Long line of video card issues; Do Newegg have an RMA limit?

I would call them or chat with them OP. You paid good money for something and it should come w/o blemishes or defects. You could even give Amazon a try. Their return policy and customer service is top notch.

I voted yes. Sorry, I don't really care what the apologists say. You buy something that's advertised as such, you expect it to be exactly that. Some of the responses are beyond comprehension. I guess some like being ripped off. I certainly don't.

Guru3D 970 SLI review

It's AMD bro. He'll never see it any other way. Consider the messenger. It was all AMD cheating last round..now that's Nvidia, it can't be...It's hypocritcal and that's all you need to know.

Asus R9 290x DCII (Guru3D Review)

I just have to ask, what is this NVidia ecosystem that has somehow become the shining star of video card purchases? Seriously, is that what we're touting now. So, NVidia's magical drivers somehow make a video card worth $150 to $200 premium, Give me a break. If that's the case, I advise you...

Strange..BF4 works fine on my 780...hmmmm.....Nevertheless, off topic.... Anyway, I wonder when the mantle patch for BF4 is supposed to show up. I thought it was December. I'm really looking forward to seeing some benches.

Agreed! Never again. When I had to RMA my 580 Matrix, it was some of the worst customer service that I've ever experienced. The card was in mint condition when I sent it in, what I received back looked like it was used as a football in the office. Plus, the lovely fact, that they didnt fix...

7970 Prices

He's right. I've seen a lot of reports about the coil wine. I think Rvenger, if I'm not mistaken sent his 7990 back because of it. It's too bad, because it's a great card and when it was $599 it was so tempting. That's the only thing that held me back from buying one.

best card to max Battlefield 4 ?

I don't know about the AMD part, but my former GTX 670 ran it as smooth as butter...This was on Win 8.1 by the way. Win 7 on the other hand was terrible.

Don't forget about those awesome Nvidia drivers too!:rolleyes: Same crowd..same story... Anyhow, I'm loving the price and performance on this monster. I think I'm going to pick up one. I'm just going to wait for aftermarket version. Not sure which one yet.
