6800GT to 8800GTS 320MB Upgrade question

saiku i m sory i didnt see this post earlier.. :( i was looking 4 any change in 8800 320mb edition and found this thead.. 4core its almost the same mobo... 99.9% 8800 will not run.. its not a mobo broblem its nvidia problem.. 8800 series its not fully compactive with the pcie stadarts...

i have a technitian diploma and stop from doing asemblys and repairs(soft+hard) since 2003 when i got a better paying job just using m$ software on a biger company.. moron for my believe is anyone who cant see the obvius with both eyes open just becose he have a map in his hands that says...

ax800pro(agp) works fine with any driver.. mine has to freese the system the first 1-2 times before the driver start working ,but i had this prob with my old mobo also.. i havent but in this thread a found that some people have to use the high voltage setting for there agp card 2 work...

just a note. after trying 1.5 ,2.40,2.10,1.90,1.80 , the stablest and fastest bios for ddr3200 is 1.8 by far. when i use 2.40 even if tests were stable, after playing css for 1h (no prob in other games like oblivion)i get a not fynny vpu error..(ax800pro) -all this after i post here saying...

if you update to 2.40 bios ,do remember to load optimal defaults.. i didnt and i was getiing random crashes..(no overclocs) i calibrate the memory settings at slowest and still i was getting crashes.. i run sandra and vuala cpu votage on my alentalle 6300- 1,5v!!!!!!!!!!(it worked 4 one day...

if you havent next time trie a clean instal with an pcie card(8800) from the start.. turning prom agp 2 pcie after might be a problem. Why didnt you trie setting pcie voltage high? (it has that option for agp.. does it have it for pcie? i cant c right now..)also the first time you do that...

it will be better idea 2 low down latency timings then disabling duall channel.. epesialy if you have a core 2 cpu.. having a dual channel prob with some other mobo doesnt necesery mean that you will have the same prob with thisone.. the brob with 775vsta will be to set good working values on...

with an ax800pro there is no need for that.. btw beside atis crapy drivers these cards with a core 2 duo can run anything very good. i cant make this card work together with m$ netframe.. (i using only the driver now)and drivers need 2 lock the pc once before they work ok at...

If the 3-5% or even a 10% remain in 8800 series /r600 series asuming vsta can boot and run with them... then she isnt goin to the garbage as the cheap temp choise i thought she was. but anyway she was impresive and great deal for the money from the start.
