they dont show up in the diskmgmt.msc control panel

drives show up in setup but not in windows

When i try to install XP, my hp netraid card and drives show up in setup but they are non existant in windows, windows cant even find the card! any one have any ideas here?

iso on a hard drive like a cd

I need to boot many machine off a cd (live version of linux) but the problem is i dont have any cdroms but i have many 500mb-1gb hard drives. is there a way i can put an ISO on them and then boot off them like that?

what do i need to change to have it automatically load the index in subfolders? it loads the main index but when i go to a sub folder such as for my forums it shows the list of the contents. heres the link to the txt file since i it wont let me post the code...

i use raid 5 in my netserver turned file server, havent really had to 'test' it yet tho

Linking PHP 4.3.9 with Mandrake Community 10.1 Apache 2 install

oyu need to add a line to the httpd.config to load the php module. ill look in a bit to see what it was i did to make it work

mounting/sharing drives in fedora

fedora/mandrake can safely write to ntfs. but yes i mean sda and sdb

mounting/sharing drives in fedora

I have a 2 drives on an hp netraid controller in raid0 for the os(fedora) and then i have 4 drives in raid 5 for data. (its a fileserver) the drives are formatted in ntfs. how do i go about mounting the raid 5 array and then sharing it? Fedora see the two logical drives as sda and sda, respectively.

you can use XP as long as your router doesnt use 192.168.0.1 as a gateway

hook it up to your computer and then share it over the network.... it can be hooked up to a router but its costly. i think linksys make something to do this.

Configuring wireless router as bridge

basically i have a microsoft wireless 'b' base station and it can be configured to connect to another wireless AP like a bridge. i want to go war driving but i am a cheap and want to know if there is anyway to hook it up to the wired port on my laptop and use it like a wireless card. i DO NOT...
