Lian Li PC-101 review @ SPCR

I've been thinking of getting a Lian-Li chassis too, but another model, the PC S80B . Revew What do you guys think of this chassis?

GPU idle and load temps

EVGA 7800 gtx modded with thermalright v-1 ultra overclocked 500/1300 idle 41 load 47. Yes, the delta between idle and load is very small. Thermalright king of cooling!

High temps

I also have the a8n32-sli, it seems it reports high temperature. I only swapped mobo and temperature jumped of 10C (26 to 36) at idle. It's possible that the latest bios version of the a8n32 (0705) gives higher temperature reading then actual temperature. But, I think it's normal that the...

ASUS A8N-32SLI availability

I know it's out of subject, but do you guys have higher CPU temperature reading then what you had on your previous mobo? I do, it the same CPU aswell. I'm guessing it's most likely due to the heatpipe.

Thermalright: V-1 Ultra VGA cooler launched.

I've ordered mine aswell alrdy :D. Seems best option for me, swapping fan is easy, so best silencing option. I'm probably gonna order one of those 92mm fan on 80mm frame for more airflow with lower noise.

Silverstone Temjin TJ07

MaximumPC magazine had a dream pc edition once and they had used the TJ07 and they said it would retail 350 USD. It was a back while this year, so price may have change, but it will be pricy for sure.

Big typhoon compatible w/ a8n32-sli mobo?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the big typhoon would work on the ASUS a8n32-sli deluxe motherboard? I currently have a big typhoon and plan on changing to that motherboard, but I'm not sure if it will fit due to what's around the CPU socket, 8Phases cooling things seems to take more space...

Why is my CPU Running so hot?

Too much thermal grease is very bad indeed as it will almost block thermal conduction between the surfaces. When applying thermal paste, you only need a very very very thin layer. Almost like if you were to only fill the microscopic imperfection on both surfaces.

Many factors, what's your ambiant room temperature? Are you sure you've installed your xp-120 correctly? Have you put too much thermal paste? The 2x 7800gt also creates a lot of heat which might influence the CPU reading. edit: i run a x2 3800+ at 20C room temperature, with TT big...
