MSI 5600 VTDR 128 handle S-VHS in?

9500 Pro handle dual head AND Tv at the same time?

yeah, it can, but need one of them to be TV monitor dunno if Parphelia handles TV output - will go looksee spec :)

thanks for the feedback so it will ONLY clone something from the monitor? :( there must be a card on the market that can show independent images - any idea? One of the AIW cards? TIA

New install of XP - won't let me login

my XP needs updates? If so, have all the latest - using Windows Update option etc etc have been wondering whether on board sound update has effected anything - C Media chip Was quite happy how groovy everything was initially - first system I've built - as worked flawlessly, but now...

New install of XP - won't let me login

Trying to get all bits installed before registering got a SCSI card, couple of scanners etc shouldn't be related to these probs.

XP problems - login probs, elements not working immediately etc

heyo my fresh XP Pro install on new drive (IBM 40.1 GB 7200) worked initially without any glitches, now a few have appeared: sometimes the taskbar won't hide itself until I open it's properties - without changing anything sometimes won't let me login (no password being used). Just gets to...

A7V266E - Bios need flashing?

Hello newbie here. Anything to be gained by upgrading the Bios for this board? Getting a few hiccups in Win XP Pro, and don't know if anything to be gained by upgrading. haven't installed Via 4-in-1 either, FWIW Using XP1600, 768MB Crucial, on board sound, Kyro II TIA Fuddam

What kind of temps are you getting with the Asus A7V266E?

FWIW my XP 1600 locked and not clocked Idle 32C+/- Load 50C+/- Globalwin WBK38 - LOUD :frown: have had a few problems, but more Win XP related than anything to do with temps. I think....

A7V266E owners... noticed higher temps?

Heyo my A7V266-E runs at about 32C idle and 50C under load - XP1600 not o'ced. Haven't had any problems that seem related to temps. Want to bring it down regardless. Have a Globalwin WBK38 plus intake / exhaust fans etc, in London - i.e. not that warm at the moment, and don't have central...

Kyro II for DVD playback any good?

just bought one, which will arrive on Monday. Have an XP1600 in an Asus A7V266E :):):D, so speed won't be a problem. I know the Ati boards are good for DVD playback, but how about the Kyro? Thanks Fuddam

checkit out they give it the thumbs up, all in all, as it exceeds all KT266A reference scores, though also recommend one focus on features rather than names in buying one's 266A board :D link to Hardocp

Should one seal holes in case to create a vacuum?

Heard on OCAddiction (if I remember correctly) about sealing all holes (other than those for the fans ;) ) to prevent air leaking into / out of the case, thus creating more of a vacuum effect, thus more efficient air flow. What do you think? Someone told me it would place unnecessary strain...

Asus A7V266-E - can RAID be used for 8 devices?

heyo Am trying to decide between (mighty expensive) Asus board and (even more expensive :Q) Abit KR7A. Know the Abit allows 8 IDE devices to be used NON-Raid, but can't find info on same for the Asus - any ideas? Can get the Asus within couple of days, here in the UK, but Abit only arriving...
