Got 170 today

Well, NewEgg is always suprising isn't it. I am surprised how well this cpu does with stock volts @ 2.8 no sweat My X2 4400 couldnt do stable stock volts at 2.4 let alone anything higher I am very happy with this Opty

Got 170 today

Looks like I got a really good chip. ATM, I am running Voltage 1.35V, FSB 312, HTT 3x, memory divider 14 133 mhz @ 200.57 2.5,3,3,6.1T cpu multi 9x resulting in 2.8 GHz, running prime for few minutes already and still stable. Wonder if I can juice out more from this chip? HTT is 936...

Got 170 today

So, finally I got my Opty 170 from newegg today, it had traveled thousands of miles and finally came to my possesion :) It is OSA170DAA6CD CCBBE 0610DPMW Anyone has this stepping? And what kind of oc I can expect with this stepping? Greatly appreciated

Zalman VF700 cu

I have ASUS 7600GT with Zlaman VF700 CU on it. Now I purchased BFG 7950GT OC and I want to put the Zalman on it. My question is, are the small ramsinks that come with the Zlaman removable? ASUS 7600GT uses 4 ramsinks and I have 4 spare ones, since the package comes with 8 ramsinks and 7950GT...

Opteron 152 or Opteron 170

I am getting one of these and I am still not sure which one is better. I do a lot of gaming. So which one of these would be a better bang for the buck and how good are these two in overclocking perspective? Dual Core 170 or Single Core 152 Thanks for help

Best Processor for GA-K8NXP-SLI mb

Well, it depends on what will you be doing with the pc. If you area gamer, then you are better off with overclocked opty single core, but if you are wanting to transcode movies, burn, office, etc at the same time, then get x2 3800, since it is the best bang for the buck. As i said, Opteron...

Best Processor for GA-K8NXP-SLI mb

Depends what you want it for? If you like overclocking and dual core, get x2 3800 it is 175$ US. If you want single core overclocked, get Opteron 146, they are on sale at mwave for 134$ US. Yest if you doont want to oc, for dual core get 4200 X2 or single core Venice 4000 Hope it helps

so both E4 and E6 have non dsl silicon? and the only problem is when using 4 dimms?
