Anyone here play board games?

I second Pandemic or other good coop games. Coop game is much easier to keep kids interested than a competitive game like Dominion, where adults usually wins. Some kids get disinterested quickly when they lose game several times. With coop game, you win as a team or lose as a team and still...

The best way for a newcomer to get gold is to play the free-rotation-heroes for the week to lvl 5, getting gold rewards, dailies, as well as knowledge of what each heroes do. I got 10 heroes just from leveling and gold rewards (no skins or mounts yet).

Yeah, the game is simple yet enjoyable. I play few games when I get tired of playing Hearthstone. Uther is my favorite hero.

Fallen, do you mind listing your deck? How does it fare against Mech Mages and Mech Shaman? I had Undertaker based low cost minion priest deck, that was scrapped after the UT nerf.

Opened 11 packs total last night and got 2 bad legendaries. Hemet Nessingwary and Mogor the Ogre. I don't think Hemet will be useful in any deck because its stats just suck. Mogor the Ogre may be fun in some situation.

If I start the free GvG arena today, and finish it after the 8th, does that mean I get GvG pack for the reward? Or do I still get regular expert pack because I started before 8th?

Thanks for the info. Since I play shaman the most, i figured that card was useless. I will hold off for now, since I've got 640 gold and 2700+ dust. I'll dust it when I actually need it.

I've been in Alpha for about a month now. It's pretty fun and casual game. I like the fact that all maps are about objective. Uther and Arthas are my favorite characters.

Board Games Bonanza!

+1 Stone Age is a great gateway game. I've got Dominion (orig + Intrigue + Prosperity), Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, At the Gates of Loyang, SmallWorld, but Stone Age seems to get most playing time.

My new board game: Earth Reborn

I may have to check it out, even though it's little expensive. I am a newbie to boardgames (I own Pandemic and Stone Age), but it's a fun way to spend time with my wife and friends.

Yeah. Some characters are revisted (marine) and some are not (Brazilian Surgeon). If they make it into a movie, I'll still watch it... with low expectations.
