voltage on memory is 2.8 volts, wich sadly enough is the limit of the board...
Timings are when running a divider 2.5-3-3-10 1T
But when raising the FSB i make them stock 3-4-4-8 ...still no luck, could it be the memory controller on the motherboard?
I am supposed to have pc4000 memory but i cant even run 1 : 1 with an FSB of 220 without failing memtest/prime95...(multiplier down to 6, so just to check RAM)
Im not the only one with this problem so it seems, is it the Motherboard maybe?
I heard the Asus A8V deluxe has some undervolting...
what multiplier? the winchester 3500 is supposed to be a really good oclock chip...
Isnt there a "apply at startup" option in easytune?
What memory divider are u using? 1:1 ? just wondering...having problems using 1 : 1 myself...altough the memory should be able to run that speed stock...
amd64 3500 "clawhammer" ...didnt know they made those,,u sure it isnt newcastle or winchester?..
if its a newcastle...1.5 or 1.55 volts isnt all too high to use...maybe even 1.6V ..providing your temps dont go flying up (never mind,..watercooling)...(ive had mine as high as 1.7, only to run 1...
(whoops...big delete ....i see u have ddr500 memory....)
Set the multiplier to 10
then up the FSB... u should be able to go to FSB 250 no problems...at FSB 250 u will run a CPU/Mem of 1 : 1 ..which is perfect... u might have to up the voltage on your processor (a little)..
have u tried...
suppose the heatsink is pretty well fixed on the processor...is gently twisting the cooler a bad idea?
I thought not, but i heard that twisting the heatsink, can bend or even break the pins of the processor?
yes indeed i have..my scores are much lower when memory set on 2 : 1 with multi 10 and FSB 250 ....
Its bugging me lol...could it be a bad bios flash or something??
According to a program ("A64 Tweaker") with memory set on AUTO, im running memclock 166 > which im pretty sure of, is...
woow..airbags...u have any idea what it costs to repair that? Thousands of dollars i sh*t you not...And they dont just blow for no reason....Off course u could leave them out if you wanted to...And i think the Airbags are the main reason that that car is declared a Totall-Loss...
I think iff...
I've asked this before, but didnt get a satisfying answer....(yes its driving me crazy)
Suppose : I run mulit 10 x Fsb 250...With memclock set to 2 : 1 (remember..asus board), and i have DDR500 memory...
Then my Bench scores should be higher then with memclock set to Auto >(which i think is...
