Computer hardware sellers in Canada

Someone already mentioned this, but I get most of my stuff from RB Computing as well. Of course, I live about 5 minutes away, so I have no clue about shipping, but prices and service are usually really good.

Curious about 3D modeling

This is just a guess, since I haven't seen or used an SDK or mod pack for a game since UT, but I don't believe the 3D modelling tools are packaged with the SDK. You are definately right about how it works though. I believe most of the game studios use a modelling package such as Maya or 3DS...

what's the best way to serialize to xml a bunch of objects?

If you're just looking for a container to use inside your Deck class, and you want it to be resizable, maybe try an ArrayList? I'm just not sure what other answers you might be looking for... Edit: ArrayList, and some other handy containers, can be found in System.Collections

Modding down 2 casefans from 12V to 7 V

Yes, using the 5v and 12v lines from the molex will give you a 7v supply for your fan. As for the drops in RPM, CFM, and decibels... what you said sounds about right, but I would imagine it depends largely on the fans you're using. I'm just not sure that the sound level drops enough decibels...

Although I have seen some people say that using the 7v mod can cause problems with the PSU, I haven't had any issues. I built a simple baybus (4 switches, 12v, 7v, and off positions) that had a single connection to the PSU and powered 4 case fans. This should be along the same lines as what...

Wireless internet - Is there more latency than cable?

The service seems to be provided through a wireless modem of some sort, with a directional antenna to a nearby tower. Other than that, I've got no idea. Information on the provider seems to be limited, although by the number of antennas, they have alot of customers.

Antec P160: how many fans, any problems, and where to get?

I picked up this case for a recent water-cooled mobile barton build and it's been great. I don't think I've ever seen a better quality case before. From construction to layout, everything seemed top notch. My only problem is the temperature display seems broke on my case. It always reads 188...

Epox 8K3A+ - New Bios brings temp increase?

Now that I think about it... when I rebooted to update my bios, the temperate was about 33C, and when I rebooted after the bios update, it was 45C. So, I'm guessing that this issue is caused completely by the new BIOS adjusting the temperature reading for some reason. Does this sound...

Epox 8K3A+ - New Bios brings temp increase?

To make a long story short, recently I upgraded my old air cooled 2000+ to a water cooled mobile 2500+. I kept Epox 8k3a+ mb for now, but plan on switching to an nf7-s sometime in the hopefully not too distant future. Turns out the 8k3a+ has some multiplier issues, with the 13, 14, and 15...

Hmmm... I've tried that, but only with the power off. I also tried remove that assembly completely from the case so I could get at the insides, but I think there was one screw hidden above the first optical drive on the inside that I could get at. I'll try again with the power on and see if I...
