New house has what looks like two independent wired networks. No documentation. Any ideas?

You'll need to get a switch, there isn't one there.

You've got the right jacks, you might need to take them apart and see how they are pushed down. You'll want the pink and gray punched down with the 586B and then put a patch panel and have all the other ends punched down the same 586B standard In that wiring closet. You'll then jumper the RJ45...

Blue and gray are phones. You can rip out the patches for them and replace with an ethernet patch panel if you don't need the phones anymore. Might need to replace the wall jacks or re punch them down but the wires can be reused. Pink might be ethernet. It's hard to tell, what are the silver...

Help with simple(?) circuit

Thanks, this is not for main house wiring. Just a low voltage DC circuit for hobby use. Think the red LED that turns on on a UPS during power failure. Not using AC for this of course but same idea. Just be able to quickly glance and see if the main 5V is suppling power or the capacitors (...

very light 2 in 1 with 10+ hours battery life and 12-13 inch screen ?

I just bought a dell XPS 13. It's not the 2-1 version but I imagine it would be similar. Easily 10+ hours battery life with the new Kaby lake and the FHD (not QHD) screen. Weighs somewhere around 2.7lbs and has an SD card slot.

How long do you think it will take for DDR4 ECC RDIMMs to achieve surplus pricing?

When DDR5 comes out and starts to replace DDR4? That's the main reason used DDR3 is cheaper. Been about 10 years since DDR3 is out so maybe figure 2022 or so....
