Is DLSS good or is TAA a shitshow? TAA in Death Stranding makes eyes bleed! I personally dropped AA when I jumped to 4k since, with high resolution, it was less useful and especially since the "new" AA were worse and worse... in a way they were progenitors of DLSS. Gimme back SSAA!

Question Is there a codec that compresses more than H265?

AFAIK AV1 is better than 265, but close enough it's not worth the more compute it needs. VVC H.266 is the next big thing, but not yet ready for prime time... not for everyone. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Versatile_Video_Coding BTW: transcoding from 264 to 265 to save space (keeping quality)...
