Dual monitor in SLI mode?

Hi, I just setup my SLI 6600GT using the beta 80.x drivers as i'm using eVGA and XFX cards. If I disable SLI, my dual monitors work fine, but when SLI is kicked in, i lose one monitor. Is there any way to get the best of both worlds? It's a bit of a pain having to switch between the two...

Running two different brands in SLI?

Just wanted to let you all know about the new official beta drivers that lets you SLI different mfg cards together! It has been tested with my 6600GT eVGA and XFX and yes, they have different BIOS versions :-D Drivers

Suggestion: Remove from favorites

Suggestion: when you go into a saved favorite thread, the dropdown should change the option "Save favorite" to "Remove Favorite." There's no reason to be able to add the same thread as a favorite if it's already in the list.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I ended up getting a Silent Boost K7 for $30 + tax at Fry's. It barely fits :-)

It's going to be my NAS/download box too and i'm going to be using a cheap raid5 card that doesn't have its own on-board processor. Oh yeah, i'm cheap (read: poor) too :P. If I can save a few bucks and get a faster processor to boot, I'm all for it.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive PCI SATA RAID card?

any luck with the raid card? that's the same one i plan on using, but native SATA, in my HTPC/NAS and would like to know your feedback on its performance.

I'll check out the Silent Boost. It seems to do pretty well, even better than the SLK900 which is surprising. :-D

You're right, the 7000 is compatible with socket a, but unfortunately not with my NF7-S (Chart) I saw that the Thermalright SP-97 is a good contender for being quite efficient but looks like the fins go beyond the motherboard's edge on an abit nf7-s. maybe it's just the angle of the camera...

Quiet cooling for an o/c'd 2600+ in HTPC

Hi All, Would anyone have a recommendation for a HSF that's going to be in a HTPC? The cpu will be a mobile 2600+ and I'll try to o/c it to at least 2.4GHz. Most of my searches refer to 939 cpus and one that looked promising is the Zalman 7700. Are there any similar for socket A boards...

Thanks SynthDude2001. Dumb question: HDTV to a HDTV-Ready TV should be okay even if it's an older generation vid card? I understand that vid cards are already capable of HDTV rez on normal monitors, but I'd like to be sure that a Ti4200 would be able to provide the same quality on a TV too...
