Question Intel ARC A380 and encoding. Any freeware to test the encoding?

I'm probably not the right guy to listen to about PQ. I am a very casual encoder with bad eyesight. Using handbrake for everything here. The A380 is very fast, and seems to run cool. Like 55 degrees, and seems to draw little watts while doing it. Like under 30 watts, I am sure other duties...

Thank you sir. . I did find under the beta handbrake hardware presets, that I had to add AV1 QSV 2160p 4K as a choice. That was the only AV1 QSV option. It did shift the work to the A380. I am trying it right now, and it appears a bluray 1080P movie is about a 13 minute transcode to 4K. Which I...

I "borrowed" an A380 to check out what it can do. I do I have to give it back, hopefully it won't catch fire. Drivers are buggy. The latest update made it unusable. I had to revert back. Youtube 4K VP9 looks good. Pretty smooth. Now, my question is how the heck do I test something like AV1...

guilty as charged. Both my old cards here, that work fine with 1080p, not as fine with 4K are rated at 4K at 30Hz. So, my goal is a card that can handle 4K 60Hz with HDMI 2.1 port, no more adapters ever again for me. Oh, and can handle VP9 It's surprising how good these old cards can handle 4K...
