Same here. GOG rules. They just need to land another big deal with a company like LucasArts/Disney or Take Two.

So what's the verdict on R9 290X ?

It's a great card, albeit with a couple drawbacks, but for that price it's hard to imagine being disappointed.

Best battery longevity? Use plugged in or charge/discharge?

I remove the battery when plugged in and avoid full discharges. I have just 3% wear after 3 years.
