IMO the tax-free zone goes to almost 10-1. Once you sign up with SR you are "in." You are then a customer of theirs. Even if you don't have your equipment yet, you may already start receiving calls (forward SRs # to your current #,) make outgoing calls via the web portal, use both voicemail...
But it is correct. The question was about the current deals. Right now there are no taxes on the deal. They are coming, but you can get around them by signing up NOW. So, no, you don't have to wonder. Those of us who signed onto a "no tax" deal don't have to worry about taxes until renewal...
Well, not quite.
One can sign up for these deals without equipment fee and an extra "goodie" thrown in:

$199 for 12 months, but with a $100 int'l call allowance = $8.34 int'l minute credit per month. No equipment fee...
Re: 1321 - I added 1321 to the block list in this format: (000) 000-1321. I have not received any calls with 1321 since, so it probably works.

I was told that it will be coming again, and often. I don't know when, but Halloween is right around the corner. :)...

You COULD just add another signature number to your account to separate your wife's business from the home calls. Those are nominally listed as $3 per month, but many people I know have 3 numbers and have never been charged. It is one of those "hidden" secrets. I would probably...
Franky-
You could suggest this feature to them. There is an email address you can send suggestions to: builditbetter@sunrocket.com
If enough people are interested, they will probably consider making the change/upgrade.
FAILOVER is finally coming.
The plan was to include it last Saturday in the revamped web portal as an additional button. Was taken out for final tweaking, but I was told it will be added very shortly. All CS reps have been trained on this new feature a couple weeks back.
One detail I was...

Multiple mailboxes within one mailbox are not supported. You get 2 different mailboxes, one for each number, though. My wife uses the signature number, I use the main number (for personal and business) and we each have our own voice mailbox. IMO that is better than having one...
Looks like the 2 yr. deal is alive and kicking. Apparently it has been running for a few days, but many did not know about it. I don't know how long this one will be up, but for those looking to get in on SR's 2 yr. deal, here is the link for it:
SR 2 YRS. for $199 deal
Alternatively...
Lucifer Lost-
You missed it. However, it is still "going on," because VT is running a similar 2 yr. deal and SR is matching it. So, if you are interested in SR's 2 yr. deal, call SR up, tell them that Viatalk is running a 2 yr. for $199 deal and you want the same from SR. They'll match it...

"I'm having a helluva problem. For no apparent reason, my Gizmo isn't working . I get the power and WAN lights, but no Run or VoIP at any point. Did all of the power cycles, in front of and behind the router. Not a damn thing works. Was fine for 3 months, now nothing for some reason...
Current reward point redemption:
Add $25 American Express Gift Cheque's to the list. 25 pts. for a $25 check. Probably the best way to redeem any SR points, same as cash.
DeninMI-
It appears that you have Telco's 211-N box, which is brandnew. When I sent you the PM I was under the impression that you had Telco's AC-211, so the info that was listed there was in reference to that box.
Fax: Can you fax out, but not receive?
SR's reward section is pretty attractive right now, better than the last couple of months. If you have 25 pts. you can now turn them into:
$25 Amazon.com Gift Card
GE 5.8GHz Extension Handset
$25 TGI Friday's (Restaurant) Gift Card
$25 Target Gift Card
$25 Home Depot Gift Card
