Planetary Annihilation - Early Access on Steam

I have the Beta and am enjoying myself immensely, though most people who have it seem to not really understand how to play. I get that TA and SupCom were never really huge, but I played them dammit, why didn't they!? :P I really look forward to them honing the game play and adding all the bits...

Magic: The gathering- how to start out?

This. Each one is like a Christmas present you get get to unwrap, lots of excitement there. Another point though, you can definitely go the old card route as well and even use them in hobby shops and the like, it's called vintage/legacy (See here) play. This is what I do since I am way too...

Anyone Playing AI War?

I purchased this recently on the steam sale (got 3 expansions and the original) for <$5. Now the package is up to $16 or so. Graphically it is somewhat disappointing but once you get past that it is somewhere in the unbelievably awesome range. Really well thought out premise and design. Just...

Cider suggestions

I need to weigh in in favor of Magner's I like tart/crisp drinks and that hits the spot. Far preferable to strongbow or woodchuck imo. There are some quality pear ciders out there as well...

AT's Dedicated BF3 Server and Origin List

My nick in game is Caricifus. In the MonkeyShite Platoon, I'll be on later this evening I think. Anyone else considering or actually purchased a joystick just to be able to fly the jets? Using the mouse for that is really damn hard.

What podcast do you listen to? tech, gadgets, etc

I'd suggest checking out WTF with Marc Maron, The Savage Lovecast with Dan Savage, and This American Life (all their stuff is available in radio archives as well if you want to listen there). Those are the ones I really enjoy.

How would a software patent matter?

Why is US fastfood chain so boring while in US?

One thing that I don't think was really mentioned -- someone noted a higher price -- the prices on this menu are in the $100+ range for a large pizza. $126 for a single large Bacon, Corn, and Pepperoni pizza ... I would expect that to be about the size of a dinner table if I was paying $126 for...
