Athlon 1700+ XP Keeps Freezing!

Oh, well I didn't know I needed to flash my BIOS...that might be why ;) But then how does my computer get as far as it does? I mean I can boot form the cd, and start to install.....strange.

Athlon 1700+ XP Keeps Freezing!

Running Dual Athalon XP 1.47ghz
