went to 3 targets today all told me that they were a closeout item because they had newer models in and would not be stocking that model any longer, also at one target the guy said it was crazy the day they disconted them people were buying alot of them, he even sold the demo for 40 bucks! haha...

HOT!-Just got HOTTER! Acorp ATX Dual Socket 370 Mobo w/ RAID (Now $29.95 + $7 s/h)

make sure in the bios the PNP is set to apic not pic (or if its apic right now try it on pic) this happened on my p4 w/ gigabyte 8irxp and it wouldnt boot into windows because it would hang on bootup, if that dosent work try a logged boot up :-) good luck --Gary

i DID have the prob, flashed to f6, now no prob :-) reboots every time EXCEPT when i have voltage about 1.7, but i run 2.48 ghz @ 1.65 so i am safe, but to boot stable and do prime95 i have toi do 1.75 for 2.62 ghz, then i have reboot issues, so it looks like if voltage is <1.7 its cool :-)

i just got off the gigabyte news group and it looks like with this bios they are still having the bus problems that the f5 had, plus the reboot issues ;-/

i think like the rest of the posts its just the reboot issues that are buggin ppl, i had to pull the cord on my system then plug it back in just to boot it, sop hopefully that new bios will be herre sooon

no issues w/ my memory @ 133, heck my memory was fine @ 163 mhz lol but the reboot issue was there when the voltage was changed :-/ so i decided that i should back it off a big until the reboot isues get fixed, so my memory ran fine just standard samsung pc2100 Picture Of WCPUID

i am using f4 it works great for me i can benchmark stable @ 2.5 and benchmark semi-stable @ 1.7 volts 2.6 gig :-) right now i backed down to 2.1 gig and runnin stock voltage just so i can keep my pci timinings @ 33mhz, this bios works alot better then f5 for now

Can you buy 1.6A in San Diego???

frys has them for 210 i belive for a 1.6a retail box (my friend got one there)... umm i was looking in the computeredge and datel systems has some computers built with 1.6a/1.8a chips so if you call them up they should have some

ya im thinking about grabbin up 2 of them and running a dually board... but i cant find a board ANYWHERE that is cheap LOL i have a friend @ my store that is gettin 2 of these and i will also get 2 so thats 4 :-) thats why i can get them for 19.50.. just ask your boss (if he is nice) and you...
