Win XP won't start up. Help!

Some motherboards are more sensitive to the quality and/or brand of the RAM, so a stick of RAM might work fine in one system but not another. Glad to hear the problem is solved.

ultrasparc boots to white screen after power outage

For future reference, when the keyboard is not detected, then the system defaults to serial console output.

KVM Switch Recommendation

I'd recommend checking out tightvnc. It has speed improvements over the original Bell Labs version.

Remote access to Linux?

Linux under Windows

I tried to run SCO UnixWare and OpenServer with vmware a couple of years ago and it didn't work. I talked to a rep at LinuxWorldExpo that year and they said they wouldn't be supporting those operating systems. That was with vmware 2.x, but maybe 3.x would work better. Definitely checkout the...
