ATi 1900XT problem

well, I did that...and it helped....alot, but not fully... Oblivion still crashes to the desktop without and warning or anything....it just closes....and it's not even under alot of stress: 1920x1200 HDR/16xHQAF Med fade/ high settings avg fps around 25 outside, towns 50-ish, inside...

So...when I restart....I press F8 to start in Safe mode?

But...I wasn't having problems with the 7800GT before....so, it wouldn't be a bios problem, would it? Basicly the 7800GT ran faster than this 1900XT

Upgrading, ATi or nVidia?

HDR+AA is the main reason I'm concidering ATi. I just don't know about all the noise though :(

Upgrading, ATi or nVidia?

Well, I'm upgrading a bit, video wise. I have a 24" Sony FW900 Native @1920x1200 and I'm looking for something with a bit more juice, because there are few games I can run with my 7800GT at the frames that I'd like. So, I'm upgrading, my system isn't bad at all, just lacking that extra juice...

Has anyone used this fan?

I have two of them, and they are pretty quiet, you can hear the video card over the fans, and they push ALOT of air out too, which is good. I have the Chrome version of those, though.

Which RAM should I get ?

I'd say grab some G.Skill, they are insanely cheap, and really goooooooood. For me, atleast.
