Question Why does the software say that my graphics card works with PCI-E 1.0?

Power saving would be my first guess. Might adjust here and see what it affects.

Yeah, B&H is nice in that regard with their PayBoo card that negates sales tax from the final total. Most of the time I purchase at Micro Center because they're local and I get 5% off with my card there, and they also price match pretty much anyone.

PhysX hasn't had a driver version update since 2021, but there is still hardware support for the last version of PhysX up until the 5000 series. This is why I have a 3050 6GB in my son's gaming computer (2nd rig listed in my signature) that's dedicated to PhysX.

One general piece of advice would be to launch this game from within the nVidia app. The nVidia app should apply optimal settings for your 3050 6GB.

I don't really see this. The only CPU that's out of stock Online is the 9950X3D. If you have a Micro Center near you, all are in stock at 25+.

Yes, I've installed and uninstalled NVME drives dozens of times from these enclosures. The installation screw is metal and the mounting nut is brass. A lot of these external enclosures have rubber or plastic installation hardware and they're good for less than a handful of swaps. I would say...

Most Direct Storage is read operations, but for this I would envision a small but really fast purely SLC cache module; this would give you fast read and write + higher TBW. I'm thinking 1 or 2 Intel Optane type modules for VRAM supplementation directly on the video card as probably the best...

I wanted a good sound card for my Klipsch reference series 5.25in bookshelf speakers and 10in sub. When my son isn't around I like to use it to fill the family room with music.
