I bought mine off a guy locally, saved quite a bit. Between this iOS 7 disaster, my experience with Android's relative lack of bullshit restrictions, and what you're telling me about how the iPad 3 is one big screwing from Apple, I think its time to dump this POS and look at getting a Nexus 10.

Ah, so I'm supposed to buy a new iPad because a software update caused my "old" iPad to lag? Software updates are supposed to enhance, not downgrade the experience. Is this somehow not understood? I'm not sure how much clearer this has to be. And also, iPad 4s are also experiencing the same...

Yeah, the 5" LCD screen is pretty much one of 4 selling points for the Active (even reviewers on youtube have pointed out that the colour accuracy of the Active is better than on the S4) - the other two being removable battery, expandable memory, and Android. I don't believe there is another...

Update...I'm about to get this phone. blairharrington's review was very instrumental in pushing me to the point of actually wanting it :) A bunch of questions before I pull the trigger, does it still have the usual S4 screen modes like 'Movie Mode', etc? Just in case I want to try out...

Oh, well even that website isn't entirely random. National Geographic has an abundance of colorful pictures that span the entire color range - pics of nature, monkeys, orange-suited climbers on Mt. Everest, water, etc. Short of a professional image testing site, I could not think of a better...

Not really random, the regular S4 has an AMOLED screen. This display saturates too much green into yellow images, even on Movie Mode which is supposedly closest to the RGB standard. This active has a TFT LCD screen.

1) How are yellow images on it, using either Professional Photo or Movie Mode (with preference for the latter)? www.nationalgeographic.com/125 (look for the Sputnik Spotter button). Any greenish-tints, or off colors? 2) I assume it still has an easily removable back to swap out the battery...

Oh yeah.. the google edition S4 is due tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how much faster/responsive it is when all the Samsung bloat is gone, not to mention how much free space it'll have.
