Question on the DS3. Will it be possible to mount a waterblock to that particular motherboard? From looking at a picture of it, it doesn't look as though you can. I'm sitting on a E6700, waiting for a motherboard and would consider this one if I can mount my Storm on it.

That thing is huge and too pricey. I'm not even sure it would fit there, it might interfere with the cpu cooler (Swiftech waterblock). I was hoping someone with this board could just measure the length and width of the heatsink itself. Anyone with this board out there?

Just ordered this board from newegg. I plan on running it upside down in my Lian-Li 2000. I know that the heatpipe cooling is a no-no upside down, so I plan on replacing the two heatsinks that are part of the heatpipe config.

So you don't have the ability to change the temp threshold levels at which your fans will turn on and off? My are selectable down to 25 degrees celsius. I was finding that my fans were not spinning because the threshold level was to hot.

The reason your temps dropped is because of the way the bios controls your fan speeds. It does it based on how hot (or cool) your temps are. I think at default settings, and this is just a for-instance because I'm at work and have a horrible memory, the chipset fan doesn't spin until the bios...

Like I said, the rep asked why I would spend the extra money on a psu meant for a dual cpu board. He said the 510 sli is more than enough. I run the 510 pci-e version (1 pci-e power connection) and have zero psu-related issues.
