Best Laptop in 4 - 4.5 lbs range

Dothan 735 in IBM Txx series comes in at 5.7 lbs. I so wanted to get an IBM but I don't want anything &gt; 4.5 lbs. so :( JoKer

Best Laptop in 4 - 4.5 lbs range

Hi I am looking for a laptop in 4 - 4.5 lbs range. What do you suggest? Which one is the best? Dell, Sony, Fujitsu, IBM ... Price Range is 2-2.5K, best performance to money ratio (atleast P735, 1GB RAM, 6k72 HDD). Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

ECS K7S5A problem

I had the same problem ... :( So, upon some usual tweaking around, I figured if I disabled ACPI, the system would start working properly... do that and see if that helps.

AMD people...come on in...

I agree with DevilsAdvocate you can probably buy a KT333 mobo for as low as 70-80 $$ ... and nforce2 is going to be a kicka$$ mobo for people who want everything under one roof. for processor the best bet would to get XP1800+ - XP2100+ ... don't get XP2200 I 'll say. when Hammer releases, go...
