When is the Bigfoot Networks Killer NIC review going to be completed?

I agree wholeheartedly that the KNIC is garbage. I am, however, a skeptic, and as such won't believe it until I see it. So far no one reputable has reviewed it. In another thread one of the Anandtech writers said he was the unlucky one to review this card. I would like to see the review, as...

X1900xt aftermarket cooler

Well, I got the card, but it was DOA. Locked up on any 3d game. I did get to hear the lawn mower that it comes with. DEFINATELY not good. Never had a 5800 ultra, but this thing is a definate dust buster sounding cooler. So card is on RMA right now. Also SVC send me a CPU cooler rather...

I don't like loud, that is why I am interested in the new one. Not alot of support for the Thermalright. It did alot better in the reviews I found, but none were on sites I had ever heard of. Anyone ever use one?

X1900xt aftermarket cooler

I just ordered a x1900xt and was wondering aboot aftermarket coolers. So far it seems that there are only two available: The thermalright V-1 Ultra and the Arctic Cooler Accelero X2. Any opinions on these vs the stock unit, or another one that I don't yet know about?

Old School! Atari 2600 problem.

Also, as mentioned before, one is included in a VCR and some recievers. I know Best Buy and Radio Shack carry them (Rf Demodulators, that is).

All you need is a RF demodulator. You can buy one at any electronics store.

Will we ever see a NON Dell/Apple 30" Hi res LCD?

I do not dislike the panel. Buying a LCD online is the issue. I can buy the Apple local, but it needs some kind of special converter to use with a PC. I was hoping that a B&M brand would release one. Hence Samsung, Viewsonic, and Sony.

Seasonic S12 600W or OCZ PowerStream 520W PSU?

love my second s12. First one crapped out after a year. RMAed in about two weeks. Great service, silent power.

$214 on newegg. No need to ebay. It is an ASUS, but you can mix companies with the new drivers.

SAS for desktop?

I know the cards cost alot, that is why I would want it to be on the motherboard. SLI with VGA silencers, an X-fi and a PPU fill up all the available slots anyway. In fact, my DFI is full with one silencer and a X-fi. No room for a second silencer nor a PPU.

SAS for desktop?

Newegg has a 15, 000 RPM SAS HDD for $200. The Raptor is $300. Seek time is 4.6ms vs 3.3 ms latency is 2.99ms vs 2.0ms. both have 16mb cache. Will a normal destop user see any benefits from these advantages (latency, seek time, and RPM)? Another question....will we see any destop aimed...

When will we see cas 2.5 1G ddr chips?

I prefer Mushkin Memory to OCZ (they have a bad history). Mushkin PC4000 is only rated at 3-4-3-8 though. I am in no hurry to get the memory. I can wait a few weeks or a couple of months if that means cas 2 or 2.5 rated chips. I was hoping that someone on the boards knew if/when we would see...
