MacBook Pro Dongle Nightmare

This situation is absolutely ridiculous but there's nothing we can do besides trying to get the best adapters. If anyone has any suggestions, let us know. I need wired Ethernet (office requires it), 1 USB, 2 monitors (I'd go with HDMI to be more flexible; with my 2012 MBP I used displayports)...

Experiences with recent HP Pavillions

I'm considering an HP Pavillion 15-t, which with an i5-6200U + 940M, 8GB, HD IPS, 1TB HDD goes for about $650 (apparently no option for SSD). Anyone has any experience with these regarding build quality, known problems? Alternatives below $700? Thanks,

Recommendation for 4U case

I want to move 2 older computers into a rack. Any recommendation for a 4U case? Anything decent for about $150-180? It can be a convertible tower/rack case. I'm afraid I'll regret getting the cheaper ones. Thanks,

Any Siberian Husky dog owners here?

That describes my Westie, too, and probably all terriers. Find real-life experiences from other owners before deciding, or the dog will risk being sent back when older. People selling dogs always minimize these problems, and the dogs end up abandoned. Some dogs just don't like small kids...

OMG I am so sick of Rob Lowes Direct TV commercials

I'd never heard of them until yesterday. It's a good thing not to have either cable or directv. It was in the news (streamed, of course) after some co. complained they were misleading for saying Directv is more reliable than cable. News ppl said they were very effective and dtv subscriptions...

Everything comes to and end. I loved it about 8 years ago, before streaming and you tube, when ppl would post here download links to full episodes. Hammond and May have other jobs inside BBC, presenting a variety small shows and one-season series. They appear to get support for what they want...
