I would suggest to Sonikku to put i7 3770 (or K) in his H77. It has 5% more IPC over i7 2700 and marginally better clocks, and it will serve him good for the next year.
I don't know how it's relevant what I'm going to say for X-plane, because I am using P3D, but in my case the real benefit of more Vram is in more detailed trextures and no pop in and not in higher resolution. Also P3D is not well threaded and again that may not be with X-plane, but I suspect...
Most likely not. AMD was able to offer 4k60Hz via hdmi only with Polaris, but nVidia had it with Maxwell. The same with HEVC support, nVidia was first. It is likely that the gap will stay.
From wikipedia - The UVD 7.0 decoder and Video Coding Engine 4.0 encoder are included in the Vega based...
Look up at the spec of smart TVs and smart phones. With only 1GB ram they run it like a breeze. My TV start to choke a little at around 100mbps so you should be good at 2Gb. Oh, I forgot, I played HEVC 4K videos with HD7870 just fine ( OFC not hardware accelerated ).
Wasn't that the same explanation that AMD gave for the weak performance of Phenom 1? That Intel cores aren't truly 4 cores, that they are glued two 2 core dies? History repeating.
I don't expect it, but if Intel would release 6c/6t i5 I would buy this over AMD ( and I am AMD fan ). i7 was always beyond my buyng power and perceived worthiness. If i5 remain 4c garbage even with ht, I will go Ryzen 2.

This should help you. And your card should have HDMI 2.0. Cable doesn't matter.
Actually, these leaks came at the right time and it seems to be responsible for jump in the AMD shares to $12. If your product is not ready for the holyday season then make people want to wait for them, but still put on a face.
It was long time ago when I was gaming on PCSX2 but what I remember is when you go past x4 resolution the bottleneck is PCIe slot ( one of the pcsx2 devs had blog about that but I can't remember and don't care to search for it ). So at that resolution even the top cards are having hard times...
