Long skis

It's not that the shorter skis make you better, they just make carving easier than the longer ones. What makes you better is being able to carve the same railroad tracks that the smaller skis can do but with longer ones. And yes you're right, a lot has changed since 1994 :)

Anyone have tips for CS:S?

i only crouch if i know i wont draw fire from my shots, or if i know i hit them a few times already and I can take him out. crouching in a fire fight = "hit me!! i'm not a moving target!!"

ANYWAYS.. to get good at CS: S you should always set your site for the head, no matter what gun you're using. Use short bursts (1-3 shots every 1/2 second) while Ducked. when you get better, strafe left.. let a few off.. strafe right.. let a few off. You dont want your enemy to get a bead on...

pc133 ram.. ?

can pc133 be put into a mobo that uses pc100? Dell optiplex Gx1 (oooold machine) that doesnt have ram for it, but the price difference is funny between pc133 and pc100. It's not my comp, the owner wants to use it for internet use only so he doesnt want to buy a brand new one.

counter strike: Any good or a noob shooter?

I think it really depends on your playing style. I used to be a diehard CS fanatic and i couldnt play Q3 or UT to save my life. Even though you'd think "oh, first person shooter.. if you're good at one you're good at all". The only thing FPS games have in common is the skill at which it takes...
